We highly recommend working with the Bresnan Group. We met George Bresnan through a mutual friend during a search for a contractor to redo a master and kids bathroom. Both bathrooms were complete gut jobs. The final results were amazing and we are very pleased with the work. From pre-construction planning to working in the house to touch ups in the final stages, George and his team were extraordinarily professional and diligent. For us, the most important part of a project is the communication with our contractor. Bresnan Group worked closely with every sub-contractor (plumber, electrican, etc) retailer and any other person involved in the project to ensure a smooth process. The Bresnan group was very on top of communicating with me on a regular basis regarding timelines, issues etc. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent and George was committed to ensuring that the finished project was above our expectations - which it was!
Since then, the Bresnan Group has worked on various other projects in my home including turning a four seasons room into a home gym. We have also used George’s team for replacing doors, various painting jobs and other smaller projects around the house. No matter how big or small, we get an immediate response and a timeline for completion. The work is completed quickly and within budget. Starting a major kitchen renovation in the middle of a pandemic did not seem like the best idea but, it was a project that was very personal to me and something I needed to start in the fall of 2020. George and The Bresnan Group came highly recommended by a close friend who renovated her kitchen and family room a year or so go. She had nothing but praise for George and the team so, site unseen, I hired them. They did not disappoint.
From the kitchen cabinet design team, to the lighting and plumping folks who helped pick fixtures/appliances, to the painters to the core team who was at my home almost daily (shout out to Matt and Darwin!), everyone was awesome. Safety was job #1. Everyone who came to the house wore a face mask, always, and practiced social distancing without question. And course, the end result is the kitchen / dining room of my dreams.
I added several projects along the way and each time, it was never a problem. The projects were scheduled into a timeline and honestly, didn't do much to change the targeted completion date - which is truly a feat during COVID. Although the project started out as a kitchen renovation, one of the things I love the most is my refurbished fireplace. Matt had this great vision to wrap the two-sided fireplace in shiplap and then helped my pick out a piece of reclaimed wood for the mantels. He put so much love and effort into taking this piece of wood and turning it into two matching mantels - it is a work of art and is the centerpiece of both the living room and dining room.

"George Bresnan and the team of professionals he manages are exceptional. We hired them to build a garden space for us after several years of having our crops taken over by hungry groundhogs, raccoons, possums, chipmunks, and squirrel. After a couple conversations, George and his carpenters designed, built, and installed a superior quality garden “fortress” that not only keeps out the critters, but it looks gorgeous. It’s a piece of art really, from the custom made doors to the craftsmanship of the structure.
